building, the domed church Santa Maria di Loreto (built AD 1575), and

|In September 2010, we took a vacation to several locales
in Europe. Our last and longest stop was in Rome. These
pages have a few of the pictures I took there. Everything in Rome
has such a history that to describe the pictures fully would take a very
large book. I've put only some brief comments in the captions.
If you're further interested, I'd recommend going to a website
and use their search engine. Another good resource for religious
subjects is http://www.sacred-destinations.com/italy/rome
